In 4-H we will “learn by doing” through hands-on activities and community involvement to develop and strengthen life skills. Membership in 4-H is offered to you free of charge by University of Tennessee Extension. Being a 4-H member is a great way to meet new friends, have lots of fun and learn new skills. So, welcome to an exciting year of 4-H!

Exploring 4-H Activity Sheets
Once you have finished five different projects, staple the activity sheets together or put them in a folder and turn them in at a 4-H meeting. Don’t forget to put your name and your teacher’s name on the sheets before you turn them in to your 4-H leader.
4-H Exploring (4th Grade) Recognition
To be an Outstanding Exploring 4-H member and receive a trophy you must: √ Complete four (4) 4-H activities in your classroom √ Recite the 4-H Pledge from memory to your 4-H leader √ Complete five (5) of the Exploring 4-H Project Activities Outstanding 4-H Explorer Clubs will be chosen at the end of the school year based on total club participation and cooperation by all of its members. All 4th grade clubs in the county will be considered for this award. Each Outstanding Explorer Club will be awarded a plaque. Awards will be presented during the school’s Honor Day or 4-H Awards Day at the end of the school year.
