4-H Home School Club

Message to Parents

For more information about the Lincoln County 4-H Home School Club, please contact Dan Owen by calling the UT Extension Lincoln County Office at (931) 433-1582.  Lincoln County’s 4-H Home School Club offers many exciting opportunities for home school students in the 4th – 12th grades; there are no dues to pay or uniforms to purchase for youth to be involved.  The 4-H Home School Club helps young people develop life skills needed to become capable, responsible and caring citizens. The 4-H Home School Club members have fun, make lasting friendships, enjoy “hands-on” learning experiences and become involved in their communities.       Older 4-H members can get involved in the 4-H Honor Club and/or 4-H All-Stars.   There are lots of county-wide 4-H events and activities held throughout the year, including bi-monthly Cooking Club and Sewing Club meetings, livestock shows, as well as, community service and leadership projects.  There are also 4-H judging teams and project groups that meet regularly; these are taught by UT Extension volunteer leaders or UT Extension personnel.  Our 4-H program offers a wide range of projects, events and activities so that every club member can find something that appeals to them and at which they can excel.
