4-H Activities

List of 4-H Activities 

  • Monthly club meetings in the classroom during school hours, as well as, a 4-H Home School Club which meets in the Ralph Hastings Building auditorium
  • Local club activities
  • 4-H Honor Club – state organization (6th – 12th graders) – membership based on 4-H project work  & leadership skills  – county club meets monthly
  • 4-H All-Stars – state organization for senior Honor Club members (9th – 12th graders) – membership based on SERVICE, which is the organization’s motto
  • County contests where ribbons, prize money and trophies are awarded
  • County Piggy Bank Pageant 
  • Regional, state & national 4-H competitions         
  • Annual 4-H Chick Chain – includes a 4-H Poultry Show & Sale held during the Lincoln County Fair
  • 4-H Livestock Shows – includes county, area, regional and state Beef Shows, Sheep Shows, Goat Shows, Market Hog Shows, Dairy Cattle Shows and Horse Shows
  • Camps – Junior 4-H Camp (4th – 6th graders), 4-H Electric Camp (6th & 7th graders), 4-H Adventure Camp (6th – 8th graders), Central Region Design Camp (6th – 8th graders) and Target SMART Camp (5th – 12th graders) 
  • 4-H Shooting Sports – includes BB, air rifle and archery shooting competitions 
  • 4-H Sewing Project Group – bi-monthly meetings
  • 4-H Cooking Club – bi-monthly meetings
  • 4-H Judging Teams
  • 4-H Exchange – Plans for the 2015 – 2016 interstate exchange are currently being made.
